The Journal just published this article touting the importance of moving STEM learning earlier in a child’s educational journey. We couldn’t agree more! At FTKny.com and FasTracKids we’ve been infusing STEM into children’s lives since before STEM was a well-known concept. Research is now starting to prove what Fastrackids has been touting for the past 19 years. Our students have been benefiting for early childhood STEAM classes since 2003 in NYC.

The research was conducted and published by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center and is available for reading in PDF format on their website here.

The Journal article’s author states:

“According to a new research project, children who engage in scientific activities at an early age (between birth and age 8) develop positive attitudes toward science, build up their STEM ‘vocabularies’ and do better at problem solving, meeting challenges and acquiring new skills.”
