Anything that is built must first be engineered, or planned out. An engineer is a person who designs and builds complex products, machines, systems, or structures. Engineers want to know how and why things work. They have scientific training that they use to make practical things. Engineers often specialize in a specific branch of engineering.
Hands-on, project-based learning is the essence of engineering. As groups of students work together they collaborate, think critically and creatively, and communicate with one another. Many scientist, engineers and mathematician can only focus on the problem that needs to be solved. With the creativity, confidence, critical thinking, collaborative and communication skills taught in the FasTracKids classroom, students are able to answer the questions in broader terms and excel in finding solutions to problems.
Join FasTrack Engineering Week as we explore Biology, Geography, Astronomy,Technology and Physics.
Students enrolled or taking a free trial class during 02/19/2017 – 02/25/2017 will learn the basics of engineering, the “E” in STE(A)M: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. STE(A)M is a common influence in most of our programs. We believe in addition to school, a co-curricular enriching STE(A)M education equips the next generation with the tools to make the world a better place. We encourage scheduling a free trial class during this event so your child can benefit from the bonus activities happening that week.
Our Explorers, Discoverers and G&T101: Gifted & Talented programs all run STE(A)M an enriched curriculum… and we still have space for future engineers to create! Join us for Engineering Week! Mention engineering week in your free trial submission.
