Summer STE(A)M Academy: STE(A)M Adventure

Time off from school shouldn’t be time off from learning.

Ages 5 – 10

9:00am – 4pm | Monday through Friday
June 27th, 2022 – Sept. 2nd, 2022

Children will explore the weeks’ adventure, interact with our SmartBoard Learning Station, engage in role play, do arts and crafts, conduct experiments, improve their math and literacy skills and have lots of free play time with their friends! This year we are featuring nine special STE(A)M based adventures. Our kids have so much fun they don’t realize how much they are learning!

  • Our FasTracKids Summer STE(A)M Academy is educational and fun.
  • 10 different weekly themes like Marine Biology,  and Astronomy!
  • Sign up for one week or all nine…the weeks do not have to be consecutive!

Early and Extended Day Options Available (7:30am-6:30pm) for children ages 5-10 Years old.

Week 3: Super Heroes and Super Powers

What’s your superpower?  Experience a super speed, a super strength, or is it a mental power like mind control.  Use these creative powers to make the world a better place. See your advanced technique superhero transform these strengths, and compare them to which animals possess these forces of nature, branding them to be extra-ordinary species.

Week 4: Pirates and Treasure Island

ARRR! Grab your grog and join us as we learn about the life of a pirate, by learning about famous pirates, their voyages and treasures.  Climb aboard and sail the seven seas and the children can immerse themselves in a fun filled pirate world full of adventure.

Week 5: Traveling Around the world 

All aboard the FasTrack Supersonic Exploring airplane! Azora and FasTracKids will fly to different countries across the world while learning games, famous landmarks and delicious foods found in those countries. The countries that are explored are Italy, Brazil, Egypt and the USA.

Week 6: Time Travel

Imagine you are in time capsule back in time and it lands in Ancient Egypt.  Explore the ancient mysteries of Egypt.  Sail the Nile River and walk with the Pharaohs of Egypt experiencing this wonder of the world through grand sculpture buildings, learning hieroglyphs, and how to be a leader in your own way.  The children will learn about mummies, Egyptian inventions and discoveries of objects.

The New Seven Wonders of the world- Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza, Petra, Machu Picchu, Colosseum, Taj Mahal, The Christ Redeemer

Aztecs and Mayans ancient ruins, civilizations, history, art 

Medieval times exploring castles and battling knights and dragons.  Be back in time brings time travel to return to an earlier point in time.

Week 7: Economics

Toy marketing is serious business! Learn how to develop a marketing plan for your favorite toy. Apply business and mathematics skills to predict and track your favorite toy’s sales. Develop a marketing strategy and advertising budget to maximize your toy’s brand recognition and assist your classmates with their marketing plans. Collaborate to develop a new toy, its packaging and its marketing plan.

Week 8: Painters & Claymasters

Are you a Van Gogh or a Picasso? Whatever your style, find your inner artist through this extension of Painting Techniques by exploring the history of art through the evolution. You will complete painted works modeled after the style(s) of your choice. You will be sculpting with clay and learning about clay art in other cultures. Your masterpieces may include pottery, figurines, and other items of your choice. Guidance will be provided by an experienced artist.

Week 9: Astronomy

Children explore spatial and abstract thinking as they learn about space travel, the sun, moon and planets. “Virtual” trips through space allow them to learn about such concepts as gravity and weightlessness.

Week 10: Natural Science

The Earth reveals its wonder and variety as children explore climate, geology and forces of nature. Computer activities and games allow children to take imaginary world journeys to examine the composition of the Earth from its surface to its core.Contact Us View Tuition
