We’ve long known what popular research is starting to uncover: STEAM/STEM learning at an early age exponentially improves your child’s academic performance throughout life! Remember that new research from Joan Ganz Cooney Center? Seems like word is spreading… We just discovered this article about preschools in Minneapolis starting to teach STEM/STEAM because the research shows that “preschool math performance predicts future K12 academic achievement.”

Our enriched preschool program is the perfect way to introduce Math to your preschooler (ages 3-5). Along with Math, our research-backed, early childhood program explores science, technology, engineering and art- all crucial subjects for success in today’s modern world. New York and NYC students have become test-taking machines. Our STEAM preschool program helps head-off any lack of co- and extra-curricular subjects in primary school. In our class your child will:

Franco Verdino, Regional Director of FasTracKids, has long know that when you expose children to STEAM topics from a very early age only good things can happen.  Children are naturally curious and want to learn many new and interesting things.  Parents and education should not limit their expose and assume that STEAM based learning is too advanced.  This is a common mistake I have seen being made over and over again here in NYC and nationwide.  Parents ask me, why are you teaching natural Science to my 3 year old? That is way too advanced. Maybe my 8 year old would enjoy that.

Teaching STEAM learning and beyond is only going to help your early childhood student make early connections in the brain which will endure a lifetime of benefits through increase vocabulary, critical thinking skills and a better understanding of the world around them.  This will also position a preschooler for entrance into gifted and talented programs later on.

If you are the parent of a preschooler, we encourage you to visit our Preschool home page. There you will find information about our specific FasTracKids programs like Explorers & Discoverers.
